Oil Firms Announce Varied Price Adjustments Effective Tuesday

Several major oil companies have disclosed their latest round of price adjustments set to take effect on Tuesday morning.

In a series of announcements, Caltex, Cleanfuel, Petro Gazz, Seaoil, and Shell revealed their respective changes, which include a 10-centavo per liter increase in gasoline prices and a 40-centavo per liter decrease in diesel prices. Additionally, Caltex, Seaoil, and Shell will be reducing kerosene prices by 70 centavos per liter.

Last week, these firms implemented significant price reductions, lowering kerosene rates by up to P1.15 per liter.

According to data from the Department of Energy, gasoline prices have risen by a net amount of P10.25 per liter since the beginning of the year, while diesel prices have increased by P8.15 per liter and kerosene by P1.20 per liter during the same period.
